Anyone from Sumter SC know how to apply for jobs at the Hibachi Grill and Buffet that's opening?

They have a sign up saying "Now Hiring" but when I went to the old Hibachi they say their not associated with the new one. Do you have to wait till they open to apply?Anyone from Sumter SC know how to apply for jobs at the Hibachi Grill and Buffet that's opening?
go to th new site and see if tey have a contact number posted or an application you can grab... Someone from management is on that site at least once a week to oversee the construction, and that is the guy you want to find...

Stop by and start asking questions, and if that doesn't wuld then start asking around for phone numbers to call for the restaurant.

if you wait till they open they have already hired a full staff

think about it,,, would you open the doors on your new business if you didnt have a staff already in place???

You need to get on this like today, before people start leaving applications. The first ones in are the ones that will score the interviews.

I believe it is Sesame Oil. I have wondered this too, because when I try to do rice like this mine just doesn't do right. I asked the guy one time, and from what I could understand he said Sesame Oil. I tried it and it seems to be pretty close. I'm sure it would taste exact if I could cook as good as them, but I am sure it's Sesame Oil!

Fried Rice (Hibachi Style Fried Rice)

录 cup peas and carrots, frozen

Add rice and margarine and saut茅 for 5 minutes.

Add soy sauce and cook for 1 minute.

Benihana Hibachi Chicken Rice

Yield: 4 servings

Served at Benihana. Made in a pan but can be done on a flat grill like at the restaurant.

4 cups cooked rice

1 cup frozen peas, thawed

2 tablespoons carrots, finely grated

2 eggs, beaten

1/2 cup onion, diced

1 1/2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 cup chicken breast, diced into 1 cubes

salt, to taste

black pepper, to taste

Cook rice following instructions on package (Bring 2 cups water to a boil, add rice and a dash of salt, reduce heat and simmer in covered saucepan for 20 minutes). Pour rice into a large bowl to let it cool in the refrigerator.

Scramble the eggs in a small pan over medium heat. Separate the scrambled chunks of egg into small pea-size bits while cooking.

When rice has cooled to near room temperature, add peas, grated carrot, scrambled egg and diced onion to the bowl. Carefully toss all of the ingredients together.

Melt 1 1/2 tablespoons of butter in a large frying pan or flat grill over medium/high heat.

When butter has completely melted, dump the bowl of rice and other ingredients into the pan and add soy sauce plus a dash of salt and pepper. Cook rice for 6-8 minutes over heat, stirring often.

This fried rice can be prepared ahead of time by cooking the rice, then adding the peas, carrots and egg plus half of the soy sauce. Keep this refrigerated until you are ready to fry it in the butter.

That's when you add the chicken, salt, pepper and remaining soy sauce. How do i make scrambled eggs like they do with hibachi fried rice?
yes it's just an egg, push all your rice and other ingredients to the sides of the wok or large skillet after it is cooked a fried to your liking, then in the empty center add a tablespoon of sesame oil (or whatever oil you like to use) and crack your egg and drop it in the oil, quickly scramble the egg until it is cooked but moist, now stir your rice back into the egg, not the egg into the rice - oddly this does make a difference in the dispersion of the egg... hope I made it easy to understand. How do i make scrambled eggs like they do with hibachi fried rice?
Hi,

Take long grain, white rice; place into a skillet / hot with a little oil.

You want to make the rice brown up a bit; turn beige in color.

As it is changing in the hot oil, chop up very, very tiny; some ham bits, bell peppers, red/green, an onion.

Add those tiny, tiny pieces into your rice. Let them brown up too.

Add water to cover the rice; you will need twice the water, to the rice.

So consider 2 cups of water to 1 cup of rice. Let it boil 1 minute, turn down to a low heat; cover and do not uncover til 15 minutes. The rice will steam and soak up the water; should be tender, not soggy rice.

Rice will look double in size.

When it is done; put the heat higher.

Scramble 2 full eggs in a container. Very slowly drop in some of the egg mixture into the hot rice. Stir quickly and let it cook a bit; then add more egg mixture and stir quickly; repeat, again and again til it is all inside the rice. When you are finished. Cover and let it set for 5 minutes. Serve hot.

For flavoring, you could add Soy Sauce, on your rice once you plate it.

Enjoy.

    Is japanese hibachi food kosher?

i want to take my jewish boyfriend out to eat at a hibachi restaurant. i know nothing about what is kosher or not, and i don't know if he has been to a hibachi place before. i want it to be a surprise, so i can't ask him, but i just want to make sure it will be ok. help!Is japanese hibachi food kosher?
There are no such thing as Kosher Food, contrary to popular misconception, rabbis or other religious officials do not "bless" food to make it kosher. There are blessings that observant Jews recite over food before eating it, but these blessings have nothing to do with making the food kosher.

Food can be kosher without a rabbi or priest ever becoming involved with it: the vegetables from your garden are undoubtedly kosher (as long as they don't have any bugs, which are not kosher!). However, in our modern world of processed foods, it is difficult to know what ingredients are in your food and how they were processed, so it is helpful to have a rabbi examine the food and its processing and assure kosher consumers that the food is kosher.

There are few I mean extremely few ethnic restaurant in US meet that requirment, most of those are in strong Jewish Communty. In some occation you can talk to the resturant owner to see if it is okey to a a rabbis stop by to check it out in advance. Even thought I do not recomand this for any Japanese Restaurant, it might seem disrespectful to themIs japanese hibachi food kosher?
    He might not eat kosher.

You should ask him how strict his diet is.

Most restaurants are not kosher. Like 99.9% of them.

Kosher is in the preparation of the food, for instance. The products used and such.Is japanese hibachi food kosher?
Ask him if he keeps to a Kosher diet. Think back to the places he has taken you and what he ate. Kosher has a lot of restrictions including the plates and dinnerware. Better safe than sorry. You can always take him to a great Kosher restaurant if there are any in your area. If you know his family call and ask.Is japanese hibachi food kosher?
I seriously doubt that any restaurant you would want to take him to is kosher.

Besides I doubt he eats only kosher food since from what you say he isn't that religious.
Being a former chef in Canada and having eaten at establishments in Canada and Japan, the best way to find out is call and ask if you can drop by and see the menu, tell them you are bringing people that have food allergies.

Most place serve, chicken, beef, not much if any pork, and some seafood, if he orthordox or conservative he may not eat seafood, mostly they serve shrimp and salmon, that is something to find out.

Sauces would have soya, sugar and sesame oils and the marinate in the same basic ingredients, the best thing to do is find out with they serve, if there is any cross food contact, as the Kosher dietary issues require meat and dairy to be served on different plates, and japanese cuisine does not use much if any butter or cream, dessert is another thing, but if they have a fruit option that will do.

Ask if the dinner is all included as prices may be higher depending on the meat or fish served.
