Tipping etiquette at a hibachi restaurant?

My friend and I are having a disagreement. I say you not only tip the hibachi chef, but you still should tip the waitress, too. What do you think and what amount/percentage is fair for each?Tipping etiquette at a hibachi restaurant?
it is common courtesy to carry a large wad of $1 bills and toss them in the air after you are finished with the meal. make sure that both the waiter and the chef are in attendance, but any of the dollars are fair game for both of them.Tipping etiquette at a hibachi restaurant?
Place like that "pool" the tips and split them between the staff, like in a banquet situation, if that were the case the waitstaff would make more than the kitchen staff, and in some places they do with tips.
