What is the proper way to eat food at a Japanese hibachi grill?

Are you supposed to eat everything separately, or is it ok to mix it all together? What is the proper way to eat food at a Japanese hibachi grill?
I think you're talking about teppanyaki. http://www.willisms.com/archives/teppany鈥?/a> Teppanyaki chefs won't cook everything you ordered at once. Instead, they'll serve each individual dish as soon as it was cooked. While you're eating the dish, the chef will cook other dishes while you watch. Unless the place you went was understaffed, the chef will time their pace so the next dish will be served when you're almost done with the previous dish. You may mix everything together if you wish. Personally, I'd try to eat every individual dish while they're still hot.

By the way, this is yakitori cooking on a hibachi grill: http://www.johnharveyphoto.com/Japan3/Ko鈥?/a>What is the proper way to eat food at a Japanese hibachi grill?
You can eat it either way. The only faux pax I have ever seen is when people pull the plate too far away from the chef before he is done the cooking.
