Went Hibachi restuarant last night. Was told that the color of the cooks hat means the level of cook they are. Does anyone know where i can check this out? Or have information on what the levels are?Hibachi hat meanings?
There is no universal rule regarding this. However, each individual restaurant can implement this to show who is head chefs and who is sous chef. Many Asian restaurants do this. i.e. Japanese, Korean, etc.
