Can I purchase japanese onion soup anywhere?

Hello, I was wondering. Can I puchase the Japanese onion soup at a store? The soup served as appetizers at hibachi and some other japanese resturaunts.



Is there any japanese onion soup sold in cans similar to chicken noodle soup that I could purchase at a supermarket? Maybe even something very similar tasting?Can I purchase japanese onion soup anywhere?

Some of the larger "chain store" grocery stores have an Asian section in one aisle. You might be able to find it there.
