Birthday dinner for 6 year old - what's the proper way to handle bill?

We are taking our daughter out to dinner for her 6th birthday to the restaurant of her choice. She is currently debating between Hibachi and Chinese. We are only inviting the grandparents to come along, as she is having a birthday party for her friends beforehand. Question is, what is the correct way to handle the bill? Do we pay for everyone or does everyone cover their own bill? Obviously, the 6 year old's dinner is already covered! Thanks!Birthday dinner for 6 year old - what's the proper way to handle bill?
its the same as if you invited them to a birthday party and orderd pizza you wouldnt make everyone chip in. you invited them you payBirthday dinner for 6 year old - what's the proper way to handle bill?
If you were inviting more people, say aunts, uncles and cousins, I'm sure everyone would anticipate their need to pay for themselves. However, a more personal dinner with grandparents only would suggest that you are paying. That's how I look at it. Simply offer to pay the bill and see if they interject. Although I personally think you should pay.Birthday dinner for 6 year old - what's the proper way to handle bill?
Thats up to you. If its only going to be a few people- I'd offer to pay for it all... They may refuse to let you pay, you never know. But I would at least offer to pay for everyone. If it was a lot of people I'd say not even to offer. But just the Grandparents, I'd just cover the whole bill.
