I'm not sure where you live in NYC, but I highly recommend Wankel's Hardware store on the Upper East Side. They have everything you can possibly imagine AND they are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Just go in and tell them what you are looking for and they'll help you - if they don't carry what you are looking for (highly unlikely) they'll suggest another place or order it for you.
